Version 1.2 of the Newbie-Directory: it’s out !
The new version (1.2) of my software the Newbie-Directory is (at last) available for download ! This version includes a lot of bug fixes, and it brings huge improvements… for example, it is now possible to edit the directory’s settings from the administration panel, without having to manually edit the config file 
I’ve also set up a basic plugin system, which is a bit similar to the one used by WordPress (ok it is MUCH simpler than WP’s) 
Big improvement: the translation system. Based on the gettext library, it allows us to translate the Newbie-Directory in any language, which will obviously help to spread this software and increase the community size For now, the only available languages are English (activated by default) and French (managed by the fr_FR.mo file), but I’ll soon start the Spanish translation, and of course you may translate the Newbie-Directory in your own preferred language
A small “bonus” to come: it will be possible to change the language “live”, that’s to say visitors will be able to choose the language they want to browse the directory in !
